Yes, I'm still alive

It's been a long time, I know. I honestly had no idea just how time-consuming finding a job and a place to live would be. "Surely I'll have a bit of free time here or there to jot down some thoughts," I thought. Eh... not so much.

But now Lovely Girlfriend and I are comfortably installed in a new apartment in suburban DC. And now I have steady employment at a DC think tank through the end of the year. Things are settling in. Hopefully all that settling will leave a comfortable space for semi-regular blogging.
